Sochi 2014 - Live Coverage

Canadian Mark McMorris just shredded the course with a near perfect run, finishing it off with a clean triple cork. The judges didn't nudge him into first, however.

His scores: 88, 95, 87, 96, 92, 90
89.5 average. Good for third place after his second run. That should put him in the finals later today.

American Chaz Guldemond gave a bump to the Russian doll on his way to a 79.75 score. It's his best run, but he's still in seventh. Here are the top four qualifiers from the event.

Billy Morgan (GBR) - 90.75
Sage Kotsenburg (USA) - 90.50
Mark McMorris (CAN) - 89.25

Americans Guldemond and Stassel have missed out on qualifying and will not make the final. Stassel was knocked out by Canadian Mark McMorris' brilliant final run.

Team USA's hopes now rest with Sage Kotsenburg.

The final is coming up at 3:45 a.m. I'll be here, and so should you.
